From what I can gather....the name means Clock that Plays (Music). And tha's what this clock tower does. At certain hours of the day, the door under the statues opens up and more statues appear to dance to the music of bells. It's really pretty, but I definitely would not want to live nearby....."Darn those incessant bells!" Only joking....of course.
